AUTOMATED GUIDED VEHICLES (AGV)

AGVs are defined by line-bound navigation. This may rely on physical lines – consisting of magnetic strips or QR codes – or on virtual lines – through contour-based or camera-based navigation. With the help of machine vision, AGVs' autonomy can now be expanded to allow them to leave their defined path in certain situations.

What sets AMRs apart is autonomous navigation. They use various sensor and camera technologies to achieve this.
