Controls Ingegration Manager

(M/F/D)*

The Controls Integration Manager is responsible for leading complex engineering projects including control system design, control panel engineering, PLC, HMI, and robotics programming, and providing site start-up support of MHE and Automation equipment for the material handling, manufacturing, and logistics industries. 

What you’ll be handling

  • Serve as subject matter expert on control systems and electrical engineering principles and provide expert knowledge and guidance to colleagues as needed.
  • Provide control systems design technical leadership in a matrixed environment, ensuring on-time schedule, performance, project milestones, customer deliverables, and compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Apply electrical engineering principles to analyze, propose, design, program, test and troubleshoot control systems associated within complex material handling systems.
  • Review contract documentation and customer specifications and create equipment specifications and detailed design documentation for the development of appropriate control solutions.
  • Apply knowledge of industry practices and international standards to produce high-quality and cost-effective designs.
  • Develop technical documentation including control system specifications and engineering procedures and assist with creation of user manuals.

What you’ll need

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical degree (i.e., AAS).
  • Minimum ten (10) years of controls engineering experience, preferably in a material-handling, industrial, or manufacturing industry. 
  • Advanced PLC ladder logic and programming. Proficiency in Siemens, Rockwell and Allen Bradley PLCs.
  • Advanced understanding of fieldbus systems and I/O equipment, e.g., Profibus, Profinet, ASi, TCP/IP.
  • Advanced understanding of other controls automation related equipment, e.g. Bar code scanners, HMIs, Variable frequency drives.
  • Must be available for up to 40-60% travel domestically and internationally.
