Does your heart beat faster when it comes to continuous improvement? As a Maintenance Specialist, you will be the ambassador for continuous improvement activities and knowledge sharing between our site teams and the global service organization. Groceries for more than 150,000 families are supplied, picked and delivered weekly from Picnic's newest distribution centre in Utrecht. The centre is highly automated, divided into 3 temperature zones and 40,000 m2 in size. The automation consists of state-of-the-art material handling equipment. Think advanced conveyor system frame loading robotics and shuttles. For control, the system uses sensors, scanners and weighing systems. The heart of the design is the shuttle system that can track and load more than 200,000 storage locations in almost 40 aisles.

WHAT YOU'LL BE HANDLING

  • You have responsibility and ownership over Life Cycle Plans, criticality analyses and efficient and effective Maintenance Plans to deliver the contracted KPI’s
  • You are undertaking Root Cause Analysis and Fault Trends Analyses for complex and high impact, recurring errors
  • You acquire maintenance data and develop analysis methods to determine maintenance demands for components, automated equipment and control systems
  • You determine and prepare performance metrics which can be used by site management as performance indicator and to initiate continuous improvement activities on site
  • You develop criteria for and evaluation of equipment and technical MRO suppliers and technical maintenance service providers
  • You ensure the LTS site Team conform and adhere to ISO55001 standards and support ISO auditing requirements
  • You act as competency owner in the development of maintenance management processes, standard operating procedures and training for maintenance execution
  • You act as ambassador and linking pin between the whole site team, customer and other external LTS colleagues for continuous improvement initiatives and provide senior technical support to the onsite maintenance team
  • You drive Health and Safety onsite and comply to all current, future health and safety legislation at all times

What you'll need

  • You have a Bachelor Engineering diploma and strong electrical/mechanical background with previous experience (Preferable within Materials Handling Equipment)
  • You have good analytical, stakeholder management and consulting skills
  • You are able to work in a time critical environment
  • You have Knowledge on (advanced) maintenance and reliability methods, such as RCM, FMECA, RAMS, TCO, Fault Tree and Life Cycle Plan/Cost
  • You have experience with continuous improvement methods such as LEAN, Six Sigma, etc
  • You have experience in ISO55001 implementation, preparation and auditing
  • You have strong communication skills, both Dutch and English are preferrable
